40% of Americans were unable to name even one freedom the 1A guarantees.

1/3 of survey responders were only able to name one freedom of the 1A

9% of responders thought that the First Amendment guaranteed the right to bear arms (which it does not). This right is found in the Second Amendment.

Survey showed Americans are unaware of what the 1A rights are, but that they have strong opinions on 1A problems that are present in their lives, whether they are present in the news, on the web, or anywhere else.
